	Most refrigerator icemakers are connected to their water source with 1/4 O.D. tubing, either plastic or copper.  A self-contained charcoal filter can be inserted into the line by splicing the tubing and reattaching the ends with 1/4 compression fittings.  This unit improves both the clarity and taste, while removing any odor from the ice.
