| Back to Questions | If I have a septic tank, can I install a garbage
disposal? |
. |
| Garbage disposals grind up food waste well enough, in most cases,
that there is no problem with allowing them to dump waste into a septic tank. Any problems that might arise can be corrected by adding a septic treatment every six months to increase the bacteria that breakdown the septic waste. If you need more help, go into Bill's Plumbing and ask one of their specialists, or email your question. One of Bill's specialists will get a prompt answer to you, often by the next day! |
