| Back to Questions | Someone told me I couldn't use plumber's putty to seal my
drain on our new cultured marble vanity top. Why is that? |
|
| Plumber's putty has oil in it that seems to cause, over a period of
time, the cultured marble to check and/or crack. We recommend the use of silicone
caulk instead. If you need more help, go into Bill's Plumbing and ask one of their specialists, or email your question. One of Bill's specialists will get a prompt answer to you, often by the next day! |
