| The most common cause of this problem is a thermostat, either the
upper or lower that has stuck. If the water
heater is electric, replace both thermostats. On
a gas water heater, replace the gas valve. If you need more help, go into Bill's Plumbing and ask one of their specialists, or email your question. One of Bill's specialists will get a prompt answer to you, often by the next day!
