1. Thoroughly clean around drain opening in sink.

2. Apply putty bead the size of your around drain opening approximately 1/2" from edge of opening.

3. Remove nuts and washers and place sink strainer body through opening.

4. From the underside of the sink, place rubber washer and fiber washer over large threads.  Then screw large nut tightly against the washers.

5. Complete the installation by further tightening the large metal or plastic nut with spanner wrench or using a screw driver and hammer until strainer is watertight.

6. Remove excess putty with soft cloth.
